Climes is India’s leading climate finance company (backed by Peak XV/Sequoia). We're on a mission to build a globally integrated “climate finance highway” that can rapidly expand the flow of capital into climate projects, worldwide. Building Climes over the past 3 years, we realised that one of the main hurdles to climate action was a serious lack of climate finance. Hence, we exist to channel global capital - over $110 trillion in cumulative GDP - to catalyse the climate solutions the world needs.
Through our suite of easy-to-deploy, scalable tech products, we provide multiple stakeholders across different industries with an engaging and transparent way to finance carbon projects in Global South confidently.
Climes was co-founded in 2021 by Anirudh Gupta and Siddhanth Jayaram with the vision to regenerate our planet. As of September 2024, Climes has evolved into two distinct entities: Climes, focused on driving demand-side solutions, and Equilibrium, dedicated to expanding supply-side solutions.
Today, Climes operates as a lean team of six, composed of some of the best operators climate finance and sustainability. In just two years, our impact has spanned 250k+ consumers, 70+ gen-c brand partners, and with 4M+ climes moved & Kgs neutralized, alongside a few strategic pivots that have sharpened our focus and mission.
